Chief Minister Kamal Nath presented a big gift to the citizens of Narsinghpur on Monday. He dedicated the newly constructed 100 bed building of Shankarlal Dubey District Hospital, equipped with the most modern medical equipments. The total cost of the building is Rs 10 crore 65 lakh 15 thousand. The new building will facilitate patients with better medical services. The Vidhan Sabha Speaker Narmada Prasad Prajapati was present on the occasion.
After the dedication ceremony, CM Kamal Nath observed the newly constructed building. The most modern operation theatre, new born baby unit, delivery room, post delivery ward and blood bank have been constructed in the building. The Chief Minister garlanded the statue of the Freedom Fighter Chowdhary Shankarlal Dubey installed in the campus of the district hospital and also planted a sapling.
The Minister for Finance, Planning and Statistics and Minister in-charge of the district, Tarun Bhanot, Minister for Public Health and Family Welfare Tulsiram Silavat, Minister for Social Justice and Disability Welfare Lakhan Ghanghoria, MLA Sanjay Sharma and citizens in large number were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Kamal Nath visited Jhoteshwar of Narsinghpur district and took blessings from the Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swarupanand Saraswati Maharaj. The Chief Minister presented Shawl-Shriphal to Shankaracharya Maharaj.
The Chief Minister performed bhoomi-poojan of 4 km long cement-concrete road, costing Rs 5 crore in Jhoteshwar. Kamal Nath performed pooja-archana at Shrimata Bhagwati Rajrajeshwari Tripur Sundari Mandir of Jhoteshwar and prayed for the prosperity of the state.
The Speaker of Vidhan Sabha Narmada Prasad Prajapati, Minister for Finance Tarun Kumar Bhanot, Minister for Public Health and Family Welfare Tulsiram Silawat and Former Union Minister Suresh Pachauri and other local public representatives were present on the occasion.
