CM lambasts opposition parties in Khijri

Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that Congress and Jharkhand named parties do not want development to reach poor people’s houses. During the Pravas programme organised by the party in Khijri Assembly segment on Wednesday, the CM said that these are the same parties that align with anti-national elements and terrorists for opium farming in State.

The CM addressing the gathering said that the opposition parties are afraid that if electricity, safe drinking water and other development scheme reach people they will be aware. People after becoming aware will know the real truth of the opposition parties they will discard the tag of Dishom Guru. The CM attacked the opposition parties for misleading the people of on ‘Jal Jungle and Zamin’ as these parties have grabbed tribals land.

Making a scathing attack on JMM leadership, Das said, “The Soren family by misleading innocent tribals and missuing CNT/SPT Act have grabbed land worth more than Rs 500 crore.” The CM said that the BJP’s sole aim of coming to power is to serve the people and to improve the living conditions of people. The Chief Minister said this while addressing people at Huwnghatu village under Khijri Assembly segment where the party was organising Prawas programme. The CM said that for last fourteen years, middlemen have looted the state exchequer of the State. Congress party which had ruled the country for sixty years had made the farmers debt ridden. However, in 2014 when Narendra Modi become the Prime Minister he first time thought of farmers launching various beneficiaries scheme for farmers, PM Kishan Nidhi Yojana and CM Krishi Ashirwad Yojana are some of the schemes which cares for people. “Under the two schemes around 35 lakh farmers of State will be beneficial as under the two schemes a farmer will get minimum Rs 11,000 with maximum of Rs 31,000. This is called double engine Government as farmers are benefitted with both the centre and state schemes.” The Chief Minister also talked about the Ujjwala scheme as under the scheme the farmers are getting stove and gas cylinder free. The Chief Minister also highlighted how under Ayushman Yojana 57 lakh families in state are getting benefitted as Rs 400 crore additional budgetary allocations has been made in the scheme.

Urging the workers to be prepared for coming year-end Assembly election, the CM asked the workers to touch every village, tolas, mohallah highlighting the work carried out by the Prime Minister and Chief Minister. He asked the BJP cadre to devout at least one hour daily for party work. The function was also attended by Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth, Khijri MLA Ram Kumar Pahan and others. On the occasion, the CM greeted people on the occasion of Karma festival.
