CM seeks people’s blessings for 5 years of works

Friday, 18 October 2019 | PNS | Ranchi

Continuing his Johar Jan Ashirwad Yatra in the coal belt of Dhanbad, Chief Minister Raghubar Das today sought blessings of people for his works during the last five years. The CM said that the government worked relentlessly for development of the region and the State for five years, resultantly Dhanbad and Jharkhand is treading the path of development.

Das said that they (left parties) talk about the workers with the red flag, but do not want their development. “In Nirsa also a red flag bearer wants poverty remains here. Why are the kilns of Nirsa closed? In the coming days, as soon as a double engine government is formed, coal will be made available to these kilns. So that employment can be created,” he said. Hitting hard at the JMM, the CM said that JMM considers Jharkhand as its property. “Members of one family are sitting on all the posts of the JMM. They talk about tribals, indigenous people, locals, but what did they do for them? What did they do for Late Vinod Bihari Mahato and other martyred revolutionaries of the Jharkhand movement? Nothing, but, the BJP government defined a local policy for the tribals and the indigenous people.

The youth got employment opportunities,” he said. “JMM continued to do politics in the name of local policy and played with the future of its youth. The BJP government is creating a university in the name of Vinod Bihari Mahato ji. We are honouring the martyrs, which JMM has forgotten. Guruji became Chief Minister three times and his son also became Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister. JMM definitely did one thing and that is to loot the land of tribals. It looted the land of tribals in violation of law. The one who talked about saving the land of the tribals, robbed their land.

The government will calculate the land taken by the tribals,” said the CM. During the Yatra the CM broke the protocol and talked to women and children. He greeted the women with folded hands and started dialogue with them. Das said, “All of you take advantage of the government's schemes. Be aware of your rights. Otherwise, you will be cheated and the development of all of you, including the State, will be stopped,” he said and also informed them about Sukanya Yojana, Ayushman Bharat and other schemes.
