Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate a three-day national seminar on ‘Gandhi and Modern India’ on September 11 at 11 am at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU) auditorium.
He will also inaugurate a three-day exhibition on the life of ‘Mahatma Gandhi in Pictures’. Seminar will conclude on September 13.
The topics of the sessions are State Citizen Relationship, Centralized model of governance, Pluralism and Social harmony in Indian context, Cooperative and Collaborative social order, Non-violent and sustainable Gandhian economic model, Gram Swaraj, Environment and Gandhian development model, Educational philosophy of Gandhi and ‘Nai talim’, Gandhi on India’s linguistic diversity and Gandhi in Chhattisgarh.
Professor Apoorvanand will be the key speaker for the inaugural session whereas freedom fighter Smt. Leelatai Chitle and Sarvidai leader Amarnath Bhai will be the guest of honours. Professor Keshari Lal Verma, Vice Chancellor, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University will deliver welcome address.
Sharad Behar, former Chief Secretary, Madhya Pradesh will preside over the session and Prof Girish Kant Pandey, Registrar will deliver the vote of thanks.
