Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Sonbhadra district on Sunday to meet the family members of the 10 tribals who were killed in firing in Ubbah village of the district on Wednesday.
Officials said here on Saturday that the Chief Minister would leave for Ubbah village in Ghorawal tehsil of Sonbhadra on Sunday morning and meet the family members of the deceased around 11:30 am.
Later he will visit the district hospital to enquire about the injured admitted there.
The Chief Minister is also slated to address a press conference at the collectorate before returning to Lucknow at late afternoon.
Interestingly, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who was detained while going to meet the kin of the Gond tribals killed in Ubbah village, wondered why no minister of UP had so far visited Sonbhadra so far to enquire about the incident or the well-being of the bereaved families.
