Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat visited an educational amusement park developed by Dr Yogi Aeron near Kuthal Gate here on Monday. Rawat said that this park was a commendable effort to preserve nature. He appreciated the ponds, caves and museum along with a number of banyan trees maintained in an attractive manner in this park. He also said that construction of cabins atop the banyan trees was a novel experiment.
Rawat said that this park will not only inspire children to protect the environment but will also be helpful in introducing them to natural science.
Such efforts are beneficial for the society too, he opined. During his visit, the chief minister also interacted with school children visiting the educational amusement park.
Aeron informed the chief minister that the educational amusement park built on five acre area is becoming popular among school children. Special arrangements have been made here for physically and mentally challenged children. This park helps connect the children to nature and raise awareness among them regarding the environment, he said. The tourism secretary Dilip Jawalkar, Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam managing director Eva Srivastava and others were also present on occasion.
