The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Dehradun, Dr SK Gupta who was also present during the meeting gave information on the steps that are being taken for tackling the spread of dengue in Dehradun. CMO Dr Gupta said that medical camps are being organised every now and then.
The department is also checking places where it possible for the mosquito larvae to breed. Awareness campaign and fogging process is also ongoing. He also said that students of several medical colleges are also helping in this campaign.
Giving suggestions to the CMO several councillors requested that the fogging time be shifted to the evening so that even citizens can understand what precautions need to be taken
