A 34-year old woman was allegedly sexually exploited for the past eight years on the promise of marriage at Anand Nagar under Piplani police station area; a complaint was lodged by victim on Thursday.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Abhisek Arjaria in the name of marrying her and few days ago he left Bhopal and returned Chhatarpur and stopped all communications with the victim.
Based on the complaint police have registered a case under section 376(2) of the IPC and started investigation. The victim came into contact with the accused when over facebook in the year 2011 and later she came to Bhopal and started to live with the accused in a rented house at Anand Nagar.
In the complaint victim claimed that the accused developed relationship with the victim and later offered her to marry and stay with him at Bhopal. After the victim came to Bhopal he continued to sexually exploit and lured her of marriage. Few months back when she informed that she is pregnant the accused refused to marry her and returned to Chhatarpur and switched off his mobile phone and stopped all kinds of communication with the victim.
The victim lodged a complaint with the Chhatarpur police where a case of zero FIR was registered and later case was transferred to Piplani. After the preliminary investigation police have registered case against the accused and started search for the accused. Police team could visit Chhatarpur to investigate case.
