Lok Sabha election management team of the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress committee reviewed party’s preparedness for the second and third phases of polling in the state at party headquarters, Rajiv Bhavan on Saturday.
Congress’s Chhattisgarh in-charge Girish Dewangan, state general secretary and Communication department chairman Shailesh Nitin Trivedi and other leaders first reviewed the party’s performance in the just concluded polling for the Bastar Lok Sabha seat, which was held in the first phase on April 11.
Second phase of polling is scheduled in Mahasamund, Kanker and Rajnandgaon while third phase is at Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Janjgir-Champa, Surguja, Raigarh and Korba Lok Sabha seats, for which the discussions were held.
They reviewed Lok Sabha seat wise preparedness. The district block-level office bearers of the party and different cells were directed to conduct continuous monitoring of the developments.
They should move during electioneering with publicity materials, party manifesto and NYAY scheme details, the meeting decided.
