The meeting of the charge- sheet committee of the Congress was held at the State party office on Thursday. In course of the meeting, it was decided that the comprehensive charge-sheet on the failure of the Centre and the State Government would be submitted to the Governor any day after March 21.
The meeting was presided over by the in-charge of the state Congress, Anugrah Narayan Singh and co-in charge Rajesh Dharmani. The convener of the committee and former Minister Navprabhat apart from the members-Kedarnath MLA Manoj Rawat and Rajeshwar Painyuli-attended the meeting.
After attending the meeting, Kedarnath MLA and member of charge-sheet committee Manoj Rawat told The Pioneer that the State Government has proved to be a big failure in every field.
He claimed that charge-sheet would be fool-proof and the people of the State before whom the Congress would place this document would give their verdict against the Government after going through it. He said that the corruption prevails in the Centrally sponsored schemes and the charge-sheet would expose it fully. Rawat added that there is no participation of the people in these schemes ostensibly undertaken for the welfare of common people. He said that the people are reeling under the dismal performance of the Government.
The deputy leader of the Congress in the State Assembly Karan Mahra, former Ministers-Dinesh Agarwal and Mantri Prasad Naithani, MLA Harish Dhami, spokesperson R P Raturi and Godavari Thapli were also present at the meeting.
