BJP on Saturday dubbed the Congress party’s protest against the Central government policy a political drama.
The protest was a complete failure and it only indicates the political void the party is going through, a BJP spokesperson said.
“Congress leaders were suspicious about involvement of Congressmen in the protest and hence they had to build pressure on party workers forcing them to take part in the protest,” the party spokesperson said while adding despite the pressure tactics the protest was a flop show.
According to state BJP, the reduction in state rice quota from central pool was done to stop hoarding.
“Kerosene consumption in the state has been lowered after the successful implementation of Ujjwala Yojana under which gas connections were distributed across the state,” the spokesperson said.
Based on the kerosene consumption, the central government decreases the quota of any state, the party spokesperson claimed. Congress government has failed on every front so to hide their failures they are staging such protests. They no more have the public support, the state BJP claimed.
