Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that along with strengthening law and order, there is a need to control crimes and crimes against women with strictness. This was said by the Chief Minister today during the inauguration of the most advance Police Control Room building of Bhopal district. CCTV system has also been installed in the new building.
The Chief Minister said that in order to maintain law and order, police should seek cooperation from the citizens. There is a need to strengthen mutual coordination and relations between police and people. This will help us in preventing crimes. Besides, Nath stressed on maximum use of surveillance system established to prevent crime. Kamal Nath was apprised of the surveillance system being used in monitoring Bhopal city through CCTV system installed at the Police Control Room by the ADG Telecommunication Upendra Jain. The most advance Police Control Room, equipped with modern technology has been established in 60 towns of the state.
