A 25-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the grill of a window at RKDF Medical College hospital where he was admitted for treatment; man hailed from Sagar and was suffering from mental illness.
Police said that the deceased is identified as Udaibhan Singh Ahirwar of Surkhi in Sagar district and used to work as a labourer.
The deceased was in mentally fit condition. He was admitted at the hospital on July 6.
The father, wife and father-in-law admitted Udaibhan in RKDF medical college and were taking care of him where he undergoing treatment in psychiatric ward still the deceased committed suicide.
In the morning on Monday the deceased was found hanging on fourth floor of the hospital and after body was spotted by hospital staff police were informed.
Police have found no suicide note. The family members were aware that mental condition of the deceased was not fit and due to which he committed suicide.
Meanwhile, a 73-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Ahinsa Vihar under Ayodhya Nagar area late in the night on Sunday.
According to police, the deceased Mahesh Chandra Lusia was found hanging with the ceiling.
Police were informed and after preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. In the initial investigation police found that the deceased used to remain depressed after the death of his wife who died two years ago.
