The Zonal-level Kho-Kho Tournament (Boys) held under the aegis of DAV National Sports 2019 hosted by the DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar concluded here on Thursday.
More than 130 kho-kho talents from 11 DAV Schools of Odisha Zone -I and II showcased their talent in the tournament to be selected for the national-level and more than 50 escort teachers of Odisha Kho-Kho Association helped in the field in conducting the event.
In final match, the DAV Kalinga Nagar became the champion for the sixth time at a row by beating the DAV Puri. Host school Principal Bipin Kumar Sahoo felicitated the winner and the runners up teams. Amit Behera of DAV, Puri and Satya Pragyan Pattnaik of DAV, Kalinga Nagar were adjudged the best chaser and runner respectively. The best players of the tournament will be participating in the DAV National tournament.
