A daylong workshop on ‘Entrepreneurship and Innovation As a Career Opportunity’ was organised at IES Group of Institutions here on Friday.
The workshop was organised by Bhopal Management Association.
RG Dwivedi, Co-Chairman and NK Chhibber, General Secretary, BMA were the key speakers. In his address Chhibber explained how a creative idea can be transformed into an innovation and how to become a successful entrepreneur.
He also mentioned its importance and functions and insisted on becoming a job provider instead of a job recipient. Addressing the students, Dwivedi gave an example of how successful entrepreneurs can be made. It requires far-sightedness, successful planning, a great deal of pride and self-motivation.
He also motivated the students to take up entrepreneurship and contribute their part in national development and employment generation.
Later, an interactive session was held. The students asked their various queries on entrepreneurship and innovation. The students also asked about future endeavours according to their skills.
The interactive session was followed with the presentation, through which the students explored different stages of life. The lectures also focused on managing life along with a successful profession.
As many as 100 engineering students and students were present in the programme. Professor Chopra of IES College of Technology conducted the program.
