Monday, 23 September 2019 | PNS | BHUBANESWAR

Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leaders, who were recently appointed as Advisers to various departments of the State Government, have decided not to take honorarium from the Government for their services.

In a letter, the Advisers have informed Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik about their desire to work in key posts allotted to them without taking financial remuneration.

Expressing their gratitude to the CM for giving them opportunity to serve people, they pledged their complete dedication and devotion in carrying out their responsibilities successfully.

Recently, the Government has rehabilitated several leaders of the ruling party with appointments to various departments.

They include a total of 11 Advisers with major ranks of Ministers of State.
