On the last Monday of Shrawan, a considerable number of people had gone to the Shiva temple near Itharna at Ranipokhari to attend the fair and special prayers in the temple. Most of the people had come in private vehicles. Due to heavy rainfall Itharna road was blocked due to the load of debris that came flowing with the water. After nearly two hours of work by local police and members of disaster management team the road was cleared for traffic.
