Dip in temp relaxes locals

Under the developing systems weather conditions have changed in the past 24 hours witnessing light rainfall, dust storms and thundery activities. Jabalpur, Ratlam and Ujjain witnessed rainfall.

In the past 24 hours Datia recorded 2 cm of rainfall while Begumganj recorded 1 cm of rainfall.

Damoh recorded the highest day temperature at 46.2 degree Celsius on Wednesday. Intense heat wave conditions were witnessed in Rewa, Shahdol, Sagar,Bhopal and Ujjian divisions  and Balghat, Mandla, Betul, Khandwa, Guna, Gwalior and Datia districts.

Weather conditions are likely to lose harshness within next 3-4 days and thundery activities and light rainfall would be witnessed in the state. The day temperature in the state capital dipped to 43.7 degree Celsius while night temperature was recorded at 30.6 degree Celsius.

State capital would recorded day temperature at 45 degree Celsius while night temperature at 31 degree Celsius on Thursday. High temperature was recorded at Tikamgarh which recorded night temperature at 33.5 degree Celsius which was the highest in the state.       

According to the forecast around 36 districts are likely to witness speedy winds of 40 – 50 km/hr and speedy dust storms, light rainfall with thundery activities.

The delay in the monsoon would make the weather conditions harsh. Warning of Intense heat wave conditions has been issued for Damoh, Chhatarpur, Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Singrauli, Umaria, Shahdol. 

Met department has issued warning of heat wave conditions were witnessed in Hoshangabad, Betul, Dhar, Indore, Khandwa, Khargone, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Sehore, Bhopal, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Raisen, Panna, Tikamgarh, Sagar, Mandla, Jabalpur and Balaghat.
