Chief Minister Ragubar Das today appealed to the youths of State, who received the appointment letters, to work with full dedication and honesty in whatever job they will do. Citing example of Cricket Player the CM said that youth should follow the path of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who has made the State proud in India and the world.
Das, while addressing a gathering on the occasion of Global Skill Summit 2019 here on Thursday said that the youths of the State are very hard working and disciplined. “It gives me joy when people from leading industries and other countries appreciate them,” he added. The CM said that the State has created history in the field of skill development by providing over one lakh jobs to the youths. “It is good example that the State is moving forward for development. The State has to be taken into the category of developed State. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a dream that every youth possess skill and get employment. Skill development ministry was formed in order to fulfill this dream and Jharkhand Government is also following it,” he added.
“Three global conferences have been organized in Jharkhand in last four years. The first global conference was Momentum Jharkhand in 2017, through which numbers of new investors have started investing in the State. Today Jharkhand is also moving ahead in the Garment Industry. The second global conference was Global Agricultural Food Summit 2018, which was also been positive in employment generating.
The third global conference was organized today as Global Skill Summit 2019 through it more than 1 lakh youths of the State have got job in the private sector,” he added.
Lauding the effort of Central government Das said, “The State government is working with commitment to implement welfare schemes of the Central Government. Even after 70 years of independence, no one worried about the all-round development of the youth, but since the day the government was formed under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the skill development programs is being run in the entire country in mission mode. The PM believes that the country would be developed only when all the youth will have skill and employment. Today, this program 2019 has proven that youth are being provided employment and self employment opportunity at fast pace.”
He said, “I also worked in Tata Steel and from there I came to know how important skill development is at the present time. Since the formation of government several centers of skill development training have been opened in the State. It is the government’s priority to help youth of rural area as well.
Through the Gurukul Skill Development Centre, the youth have been made skilled. As the youth are being trained, the employment is being provided by the State Government by establishing mutual co-ordination with the industrial units and other institutions. In the private sector also, there are immense possibilities of employment in the state.”
