DPS Ranchi students performed well in various competitive examinations. Srijan Shashwat (Class XII) scored a whopping 100% result in SAT(Scholastic Assessment Test), an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities in the US, Canada as well as other countries to select students for admissions to undergraduate courses. Tejas Ashish Batra, Class XII, a pass out of DPS Ranchi secured 38th rank in AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College) entrance exam. He has earlier bagged AIR- 6941 in NEET, AIR-4644 in AIIMS and AIR-2317 in JIPMER. Ishita Purwar Class XII, another pass out of DPS Ranchi got selected for the Oxford Summer Course in the subject Business and Entrepreneurship, and got accommodated in the Somerville College of the prestigious Oxford University. It is noteworthy that 30 students were selected for this course, out of which only 5 students were Indian.
