Thursday, 23 May 2019 | PNS | BHUBANESWAR

The Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) Nagar Unnayan Parishad has demanded that immediate measures be taken to stop the overflowing of sewage water in the VSS Nagar area.

The pool of dirty water has turned out to be a major problem for the residents and commuters.

Parishad general secretary Dillip Dashsharma alleged that the residents and commuters are facing trouble only after the management of sewerage line was handed over to the Odisha Sewerage Board from the PHED on April 16.

The residents alleged that despite repeated complaints to the concerned department, no steps have been taken till now to sort out the issue. They also alleged that the sewage water is entering their houses making their life miserable.
