DSPs to review day to day working of police stations: SSP

Wednesday, 16 October 2019 | PNS | DEHRADUN

In order to review the day to day working of police personnel in every police station, Dehradun Senior Superintendent of Police Arun Mohan Joshi has directed all Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) rank officers to conduct scrutiny of their day to day work.

SSP Joshi said, “Deputy SPs have been directed to do scrutiny of the day to day work of all police stations, after reviewing their work a list defaulters will be made. The police personnel who are either apathetic or not up to mark will be sent to police line and will be encouraged to do better policing.”

According to sources that after repeated complaints about police force being apathetic and dis-interested towards policing, because of which Dehradun is increasingly becoming a place for criminals to hide, the step was taken to improve policing on district level.
