ECoR meet on passenger awareness

A  special exhibition on ‘Passenger Awareness-Helpline 182 with Arms and Ammunition’ was organised by the East Coast Railway (ECoR) at the Railway Stadium here on Saturday to educate passengers and other rail users.

ECoR General Manager Vidya Bhushan inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of ECoR IG-cum-Chief Security Commissioner Raja Ram.

The aim of the exhibition is to make aware rail users and traveling passengers so that they are in a position to help and inform railway authorities about the arms and ammunition, explosives, etc., if seen during their travel, so that many lives and national property can be saved.

Besides, if any passenger being harassed or facing any difficulty regarding safety and security, they are advised to inform the railway administration by dialling universal railway security helpline number-182.
