In order to bridge the gap between parents and teachers, East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) has decided to hold a mega ‘Parents Teachers Meeting’ (PTM) on July 20. East Mayor Anju said that efforts are being made by the corporation to improve the quality of education in its schools.
She said that parents of the students, area councillors, RWAs and representatives of social organizations have been invited in mega PTM to discuss the ways for all-round development of the children. The Mayor said that during the mega PTM senior officers of Corporation will also be present in different schools.
Chairman of Standing Committee, Sandeep Kapoor said that during the Mega PTM, children will also be made aware of cleanliness, Swachh Bharat mission and Vector borne diseases. Kapoor further said that EDMC is committed to provide an atmosphere conducive to learning in order to make our schools better than public schools.
Leader of House, Nirmal Jain said that EDMC is improving the quality of education in its schools everyday through new policies, new infrastructure including CCTVs, guard rooms, smart classrooms, water purifier and new desks.
