Eunuch among five held for opening fire

The TT Nagar police have nabbed five persons including eunuch who is master mind of the attack in which three persons opened fire at eunuch on June 26 in New Market area; attackers were nabbed on Friday.

The nabbed accused were identified as Ajay alias Choti (20) of Vajpai Nagar, Simmi alias Guru Kinnar (26) of Talaiya, Bharat Keswani(20) of Budhwara, Pawan Malhotra (23) of Bairagarh  and Sadam Qureshi(20) of Talaiya.

SHO TT Nagar police Virendra Chouhan said that the attack was fuelled with old enmity and attackers wanted to attack Kajal who had dispute with Simmi who is one of the accused. Kajal who is the main accused along with her boy friend Saddam planned the attack and gave contract killing to the three attackers who opened fire on June 26 near Rangmahal square.

The two had a fight which turned nasty after Simmi’s hair was cut by Kajal. The two had dispute over collecting money. They wanted to have larger area and extorted money, he added.

On August 12 one of the accused Deepak Kharde alias Nanka was nabbed. Police narrowed down on the accused after checking call record details, CCTV cameras and other information. Notably, in the early morning hours at Rangmahal square three masked miscreants opened fire at a eunuch the victim was shot thrice.

The victim identified as Mili was on her way to Rangmahal Sqaure in an auto rickshaw along with Kajal Bambaiya and was fired thrice by three masked miscreants and escaped the spot.
