Fake Ghadi detergent powder seized in Sultanpuri

The local commissioner, appointed by Delhi Court, has raided and seized a shop in Delhi's Sulatnpuri for allegedly selling fake 'Ghadi' detergent powder.  According to Advocate Anil Kumar Sahu, the detergent company, RSPL Ltd. was continuously receiving complaints from a long time in respect of duplicate ‘Ghadi’ detergent powder being sold in the markets of Delhi, including West and outer Delhi districts.

"After proper investigation, the company filed a case in Delhi Court. Acting on the case. the Additional district Judge Vineet Kumar passed an order to visit premises of the counterfeiter who was misusing the trademark 'Ghadi' of the plaintiff company and Local Commissioner was appointed to seize the fake articles," said Sahu.  "Accordingly, Local Commissioner conducted raid on the premises on Wednesday at Haryana Traders, Stores in Delhi's Aman Vihar area in Sultanpuri, a large quantity of  ‘Ghadi’ fake detergent powder was seized," said Sahu.
