Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday alleged that BJP workers are being killed as they are opposing the ruling BJD politically and said people would give a befitting reply in ballots during the ongoing elections.
“The attack on BJP workers and supporters across the State is a reflection of BJD’s scare of defeat. BJP workers are being killed for opposing the BJD politically.
The Home Department and two-three non-Odia officers in the Chief Minister’s office are trying to stop democratic voice in the State,” alleged Pradhan in a statement.
He lamented saying that cases under Section 307 are being lodged against those who are merely showing democratic protests against the CM or his Ministers but no action is being taken against the culprits who are killing BJP workers.
He too alleged that Election Officers are not taking any action without a direction from the CM.
