The players of Bhopal brought laurels to the State with their brilliance. For the first time female players of Madhya Pradesh will participate in National Billiard Snooker Competition. The players are from Bhopal.
The players will represent the State in the competition to be played at Tatya Tope Stadium, Indore.
The players include Soumya, Hazara and Pavani. This is the first time that the three girls will participate in the billiard snooker from Bhopal.
It is notable that the department had set up a billiard snooker table stadium a year ago. Bhopal’s player snooker player Vishnu N, Kamal Chawla and assistant coach Sandeep have trained these youngsters. All the three players along with their competitor Sandeep and Kamal Chawla met Director Sports and Youth Welfare S.L. Thoussen here on Tuesday. On this achievement of the players, Director of Sports and Youth Welfare SL Thoussen congratulated the players, appreciating their sportsmanship.
He also expressed his contentment over the fact that for the first time female players from Bhopal have been selected for the national competition.
He said that the players of Madhya Pradesh are regularly exhibiting their talent at different sports platforms. He said that not only at national level, but on international platforms, the players have bagged medals. He encouraged the winners to showcase similar performance in future championships.
The sports director expressed happiness over the regroup preparation of the players and encouraged them to give their best performance in the National Snooker championship and bring laurels to the State.
