Timely action by fire tenders pacified fire which broke in the parking at the Raja Bhoj Airport during the day on Friday.

After the fire erupted in parking Raja Bhoj Airport on fire fighters were pressed into job to pacify the fire. The airport team swung into action and prevented it from spreading to the entire parking space. In the fire vehicles were not damage as the fire tenders managed to pacify the fire.

The CISF officials who rushed to the spot and controlled the situation said that the fire was pacified before it could reach the vehicles which might have taken a massive shape and could spread to other vehicles resulting in major mishap.

CISF director (Airport) Virendra Kumar had said that the immediate action by the fire fighters to rush and pacify fire averted a major incident. The other thing which helped in averting the incident was the distance of the fire was far from the parked vehicles which provided time for the pacifiers to control fire.

Panic created at the airport area after smoke was witnessed at the parking space but the reason of the fire remained unknown.

At the time of the incident no one was near the spot where the fire erupted. It is possible that someone might have left cigarette or might have put fire intentionally which would be enquired. The team of fire fighters is enquiring to find the reason which caused the fire. After the fire broke out Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), team from Airport fire sub- station and other staff rushed the spot.                SR
