Friday, 19 April 2019 | PNS | ROURKELA

The National Fire Service Week 2019 began at the CISF unit in the NTPC’s Darlipali Super Thermal Power Station (DSTPP) at Darlipali on Sunday.

DSTPP ED Sanjeev Kishore inaugurated the programme in the presence of GM (O and M) RC Patnaik, GP (Project) Kameswar Jha, AGM (Safety) Sarad Singh, CISF Assistant Commandant BN Murmu, among many.

The theme is “Fire prevention is better than fire fighting”.

Banners, leaflets and pamphlets containing this year's theme and important fire safety instructions were released.

Fire Inspector Ashish Ranjan Tiwari and other CISF staffs were present.

The CISF Fire Service wing will conduct several events and programmes for educating the plant employees and contractual workers on first-aid and and important fire-safety instructions.
