The Guduri police arrested five persons in a ganja smuggling case and seized 224 kg of cannabis from their possession here.
The accused were bringing the contraband from Chandrapur area for transportation to Bihar State.

Also cash of Rs 1 lakh was seized from prime accused Ganapati Patika which he was having for payments and to bear the cost of transportation of contraband ganja.
A Bolero Pick Up van bearing Regd No. OD-18-F 2263 owned by Patika in which the ganja was transported was seized.
