Dsense fog enveloped several parts of the State leading to disruption in flight operations at the Biju Patnaik International Airport here on Saturday morning due to low visibility. Arrivals and departures of planes were largely put on hold while some flights were also diverted. A thick blanket of fog affected normal life at several places in the State. Normal vehicular traffic was also affected while several trains were reported running late. Meanwhile, the Met Department at Bhubaneswar predicted that the fog situation would continue for the next couple of days.
