The Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) is going to give permanent employment to 11 members of a family along with 1.1 acre land at resettlement site/ cash in lieu of plot for acquiring just 0.27 acre coal bearing land at Talcher coalfields in Angul district.
A family of late Sridhar Pradhan, son of Chinta Pradhan of Hilloi village under Jagannath Area is being given 11 jobs along with 1.1 acre resettlement plot/ cash in lieu of plot for acquiring 0.27 acre land.
It is pertinent to mention here that now they are demanding Rs 16 lakh for each in lieu of resettlement plot of 10 decimal each, which would come to Rs 1.76 crore.
