Chhattisgarh Sports and Youth Welfare department and Raipur district administration are jointly organizing ‘Svatantrata Daud’ (Freedom Run) on the eve of Independence Day, on August 14, at 7.00 AM in capital city, Raipur.
As per information provided by sports department, the run will commence from Shahid Bhagat Singh Chowk. Pass through Shankar Nagar square to Khajana square, the run will take a U-turn to return to the starting point. School students, NSS, NCC, Scout cadets, players and office bearers of sports associations will participate in the event.
Sports and youth welfare department has urged the city residents also to take part in the run.
