Govt’s bold step will ensure development in J&K: Jamdagni

Thursday, 15 August 2019 | PNS | Haridwar

The BJP spokesman from Haridwar, Om Prakash Jamdagni said that the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir is a bold step. He said, “Article 370 of the Indian Constitution gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir which has been the subject of dispute between India and Pakistan since 1947.

This is a bold step taken by the Government of India in the interest of the nation.” He said that after 73 years the independence of the country has come in real terms. “It took India so long to take this step of abrogation of certain facilities in the state which were actually feeding the terrorists.

We thank PM Narendra Modi and Home minister Amit Shah for this historical decision.

Very soon the Government shall be holding an investors summit in Jammu and Kashmir which will attract investment and industrial development to generate employment in the region. Now there will be development in the region which was neglected for so long,” he said.
