Chief Minister Raghubar Das said on Tuesday that the International Yoga Day event will be made a grand programme. Holding a review meeting with Health Secretary along with Ranchi DC and SSP, the CM asked them to add more and more youth with the programme. He also instructed officials to arrange for offline registration for the event as well.
The Chief Minister asked officials to add more and more people and local institutions also with the event. He said that it is a matter of pride for the State that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has selected Jharkhand to hold the main function of the event.
“We all have to make this event a huge success with all our energy, so ensure participation of everyone in the programme,” he said instructing the officials to connect people of all sections of society in the yoga event scheduled at Raj Bhawan on June 13. He also asked official to make traffic system proper on June 21.
Health Secretary Nitin Madan Kulkarni said in the meeting that preparations for the event are in full swing and the State government is working in coordination with the officers of Central government. Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Rai Mahimapat Ray said on the occasion that at Ranchi DC office offline registration facility is available and from Wednesday the facility will be started at Nucleus Mall also. He said that more centres will also be added for the purpose. Ranchi SSP Anish Gupta was also present on the occasion.
