Grand Nagar Kirtan from city to Nankana Sahib planned

The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has planned to take out a grand Nagar Kirtan from Delhi to Nankana Sahib by road on the occasion of 550th Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev.   

DSGMC President Manjinder Singh Sirsa and General Secretary Harmeet Singh Kalka said that first time in the history of the country a Kirtan Darbar will be organised on  September 21st at IP Stadium in National Capital in which 1100 children from the schools of the DSGMC will simultaneously recite Shabads and perform Kirtan

‘The process to take out Nagar Kirtan has already been initiated and the Sikh body has written to Pakistan High Commissioner to facilitate a meeting between the organising committee of  Pakistan for 550th Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev so that all preparations and mandatory clearances can be obtained timely,’ said Sirsa.
