Governor Lalji Tandon laid wreath on the mortal remains of former Chief Minister of the State late Babulal Gaur here today and paid tributes to the departed soul. Tandon reached Bhopal from Lucknow this afternoon and reached Subhash Nagar crematorium directly. He paid his last respects to Gaur and bid him farewell.
Tandon said in condolence message that Gaur was a favourite with everyone. He rose above party politics and served people all his life. Gaur's contribution in the development of the state especially Bhopal is unforgettable. The Governor said that due to the death of Gaur, the state has lost a hard working politician and a lively person. Tandon prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family and supporters to bear this grief.
