The State Meteorological Centre on Tuesday issued a warning of hail which is likely to occur in mountainous regions of the State during the next 24 hours.
Further, thunder squall is also likely to occur at isolated places especially in plains of the state. The overall weather for the state is to remain partly to generally cloudy with the possibility of light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorm at a few places in the state.
In Dehradun, the climate is forecast to remain mainly clear to partly cloudy with the possibility of rain and thunderstorm accompanied by squall in some areas on Wednesday.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 37 degree Celsius and 22 degree Celsius respectively.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at various places of the state on Tuesday were 39.8 degree Celsius and 24.4 degree Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 39.3 degree Celsius and 29.6 degree Celsius in Pantnagar, 30.7 degree Celsius and 17.2 degree Celsius in Mukteshwar and 31 degree Celsius and 20.4 degree Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
