Hot, humid weather to prevail for 3-4 days

Hot and humid weather conditions prevailed after cold weather conditions in the early morning hours on Friday in the State capital.

The conditions would further become hotter as Met department told that gradual increase by 2-3 degree Celsius in the temperatures would be recorded in the next 3-4 days in the state and state capital.

The sun came out brightly making temperature to soar. State capital recorded day temperature at 33.6 degree Celsius while the night temperature was recorded at 17.4 degree Celsius. Cloudy weather conditions were witnessed for brief period in the state capital. 

Day temperatures soared in the state at several places. Betul, Dhar, Hoshangabad, Ratlam and Khajuraho recorded day temperature around 36 degree Celsius.

The temperatures have witnessed a gradual increase in the temperatures in the past 3-4 days after abrupt changes which continue to prevail in the month of February and still in the month of March for three weeks. Weather conditions remained normal except rainfall at few places in Jabalpur division in the past 24 hours.

The highest day temperature was recorded at 38 degree Celsius in Khargone on Friday. 

The lowest night temperature was recorded at 13 degree Celsius in Ujjain, Betul and Mandla districts. According to the forecast the state capital would record day and night temperatures around 34 and 18 degree Celsius. The weather conditions would remain dry and clear sky weather conditions would prevail on Saturday. Hoshangabad division witnessed significant dip in the temperatures which was not in accordance with the prevalent trend of increasing temperatures.
