House burgled, valuables taken away

Valuables worth Rs 90,000 were burgled from Old Minal Homes under Ayodhya Nagar police station area on Thursday.

According to the police, the victim A Thomas had gone to Kerala in the month of December and when she returned on Wednesday, she found that valuables were burgled and on Thursday, a complaint was lodged with the Ayodhya police.

In her complaint, victim stated that she had gone to Kerala in the month of December and few days ago she received information that her house was targeted by miscreants.

After her return she checked the burgled valuables and found that electronic goods and around gold jewelry worth Rs 90,000 were burgled.

Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.

Police said that the neighbors have expressed ignorance over burglary while the domestic help and security guard would be quizzed in the investigation.

The victim is retired nurse and was deployed at Hamidia hospital.

Meanwhile valuables worth Rs 60,000 were burgled from Kalpana Nagar under Piplani police station area on Thursday.

The victim, Anup Singh, had gone for work on Thursday  and when he returned after work the lock was found broken and on entering the house valuables were found burgled.

The total loss was around Rs 60,000 including Rs 25,000  cash claimed the victim.

The police have registered a case under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC and started further investigation.
