Even before the polling day and result of Lok Sabha polls, the Aam Aadmi Party in Haryana seems to have accepted its defeat in the elections.
A day after Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal pushed for an alliance of Congress, AAP and Jannayak Janta Party in Haryana, AAP Haryana party chief Naveen Jainhind on Thursday said that the BJP is winning on all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana and only a strong alliance can stop them from winning.
“Given the current political situation, the BJP will manage to win all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana,” Jaihind said while talking to the mediapersons.
He claimed even Congress’ three-time MP Deepender Singh Hooda will lose from Rohtak parliamentary seat. If a strong alliance of Congress, AAP and JJP is not made in Haryana, the opposition will lose on all seats, he added. Jaihind also accused BJP of politicizing the issue of IAF’s air strikes in Pakistan and befooling the people in the name of nationalism. Notably, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal had on Wednesday appealed to Congress president Rahul Gandhi to form an alliance with AAP and JJP for defeating the BJP on all 10 LS seats in Haryana.
The offer was however rejected by both Congress and JJP. While Congress had refused to form alliance and announced to go it alone in LS polls in Haryana, the JJP had maintained that it will not be a part of any alliance which includes Congress.
