Haryana Special Task Force (STF) has arrested a dreaded sharpshooter and most wanted criminal, carrying a reward of Rs 75,000 on his head, from Agra in Uttar Pradesh.
A spokesman of Police Department said that arrested criminal was identified as Amit alias Chottu alias Sultan, a resident of village Soup in Bagpat, Uttar Pradesh. Amit was a sharp shooter of Mukhtar Ansari (Uttar Pradesh) and Bagh Karor (Rohtak) gang. He was nabbed by a nine-member STF team led by Inspector Satish Deswal.
Amit was wanted in murder of Dhajja, a member of Anil Chippi gang, the spokesman said. He was involved in a number of criminal activities and was absconding for last nine years.
