The Indian Audit and Accounts (IA and A) East Zone Hockey Tournament organised by the Office of Accountant General concluded at the Kalinga Stadium here on Friday.
The final match was played between Odisha and West Bengal wherein the WB team managed to defeat the home team by 3-1 goal. Pradeep Gautam and Menakshi Sundaryam were the match referees.
On the concluding day, Accountant General (General and Social Sector Audit) Bibhudutta Basantia, Debasmita Nayak and Hockey Olympian Lazarus Barla attended as guests and awarded the trophies and cup to the teams, man of the tournament, man of the match and players.
Among others, Senior Deputy Accountant General (Admin) Vishwanath Singh Jadon, RK Solanki, Dr Jyoti Chaurasia, P Rahul, Dinamani Mallick, Nand Hulal Das, Abkash Khuntia, Chimay Hota, B Kiran and Saroj Barik were present.
