ICFAI ranked among top 10 Private varsities in East Zone

ICFAI University, Jharkhand was recently rated by two reputed national magazines and independent research agencies to be among the Top 10 Private Universities in the Eastern Zone. In both the cases, evaluation was done on a holistic basis, on multiple parameters, like Quality of Education, Research, Publications and Campus Placements etc. East Zone includes the Eastern States and also North Eastern States.

As per the Week-Hansa Research Survey 2019 on India’s Best Universities , which was published in May 26, 2019  issue of the magazine, the University secured  9th Rank among the Private Universities in East Zone.

The ICFAI University is the only one from Jharkhand to figure in the top 10 private universities in East Zone.  Evaluation was done on multiple parameters like infrastructure, quality of faculty members, research, publications, industry exposure and campus placements. 60 per cent weightage was given to these parameters and balance 40 per cent weightage was given to perceptual parameters.

Digital Learning Magazine, in its Universities Ranking 2019, ranked the University at 8th among the Private Universities in East Zone. Only 2 Universities from Jharkhand, BIT, Mesra and the ICFAI University, made it to the top 10 private universities in East Zone. The evaluation was done on the basis of five broad categories of parameters, which include infrastructure, quality of faculty, academic reputation, academic excellence and industry exposure.

Expressing happiness and congratulating all the stake holders on  this achievement, Prof O R S Rao,  Vice-Chancellor of ICFAI University, Jharkhand said, “Credit for this achievement goes to our hard working students and committed faculty members, who strive hard to provide quality education , and groom our students into competent professionals, with good character”. “We are committed to further improve the quality of education so as to make our students ready to seize future opportunities and face the challenges successfully,” added Prof Rao.
