Chief Minister Kamal Nath has said that the principles and ideas of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, are the need of the hour. We can keep the country safe only by adopting these in our lives. Kamal Nath said this while unveiling the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Chhindwara on Saturday. On this occasion, he announced the naming of the statue site as Gandhi Chowk.
The Chief Minister said that the entire country is celebrating Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th anniversary year. He said that our present and future generations need to be associated with the thoughts, conduct and principles of Mahatma Gandhi. We can keep the unity and integrity of our country strong with peace, non-violence, harmony only if we follow the path shown by Gandhiji.
