Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangarahalaya is organizing Hindi fortnight from September 3 to 17, 2019 to show love and respect for our national language-Hindi. During the official language fortnight various programmes and competitions are being organized. A “Your 5 minutes” competition was organised as part of Hindi fortnight on Saturday. This programme was organized by Rakesh Bhatt and Shrikant Gupta. “Your 5 minutes” competition was enjoyed by all employees and officers of the Sangrahalaya. In This competition 20 employees and officers of the museum took part in this competition where they were given five minutes to express their thoughts in Hindi. The participants recited jokes, chronicles, experiences, and entertained the audience through songs and ghazals.
On this occasion, the famous litterateur and writer, Lata Agrawal expressed worry over decline in readership that has been noted in the past few decades. She also recited a poem reminiscing of her father’s life values. Writing is must be valuable, they added.
This event was followed by a ‘Poster Competition’, centered on the topic ‘Purvottar Aadijan Jeevan Me Hindi Bhasha/Hindi Bhasha evam Aadijan’. The poster making competition was organized by officials of art section, Praveen Narad and Lalit Bagul.
