IIT to hold ‘Open Day’ on foundation anniv

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bhubaneswar would hold an ‘Open Day’ to showcase science and technology initiatives in the campus on the occasion of its 11th foundation day on February 12.

The foundation day programme would be inaugurated by Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal in presence of IIT BBS Director Prof RV Raja Kumar and former Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Chairman Dr S Christopher.

Kumar said that the institute is keen on doing its best in inspiring the school children and university students in the region as a part of its ambitious outreach programme and continuing the tradition of conducting the ‘Open Day’ on the foundation day.

Students of all schools of the IIT BBS would take part and more than 205 live exhibits and experiments would be presented, to inspire students of universities, engineering colleges and schools.
