A two-day seminar ‘JIMACON-2019’ was held on Sunday under the aegis of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) at Shavak Nanavati Technical Institute (SNTI) at Bistupur in Jamshedpur. National Vice-President of IMA from Ranchi, Dr Ajay Kumar Singh, Dr GD Banerjee, Dr Anant Sinha and Dr Tanmay Prasad specially participated in this programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said the Government should take more proactive steps for the grand success of the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
Dr Anant Sinha of Devkamal Hospital, who was unanimously elected the President of Jharkhand and Bihar Plastic Surgeon Association recently, while discussing anti-biotic policy, advised the doctors to use less anti-biotic and said that only when necessary then the patients should be given anti-biotic medicines. He informed that he has invented a plan to provide facility of plastic surgery scheme for the poor and the needy. Sinha also spoke about the security of hospitals and clinics which is very necessary.
Addressing the gathering of doctors, working as Plastic Surgeon at Devkamal Hospital, Dr Tanmay Prasad presented some rare cases related to plastic surgery through presentation and discussed it in detail. Praising Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Prasad said that it is an extraordinary scheme launched by the Centre Government and given unprecedented results to many patients who have been treated from Devkamal Hospital under this scheme.
He said that now, the patients don’t have to put their land or property on mortgage to get high class treatment. Under the Government schemes like Ayushman Bharat, it is now possible to treat poor patients for free of cost, he added.
