‘Icecake’ breaks the ice for Indian Cinema

Chandigarh: A super experimental feature film, ‘Icecake’ is made with 12 motorcycle riders as they undertake a 1400km treacherous ride to Spiti Valley from Delhi in a span of just 12 days by painter-filmmaker Manoj Mauryaa. Manoj is known for his disruptive visual aesthetics in the film which comes from the virtue of his being a painter. Besides, the stunning landscapes of snow-clad mountains, what makes the film beautiful is the inevitable visual art woven into storytelling narrative, a trait idiosyncratic to the painter-filmmaker, Manoj Maurya.  Icecake is scheduled to travel to film festivals across the globe.
